From the fall of 2021 until December 2023, I was a photographer and photo editor for The Ithacan, Ithaca College’s award-winning, student-run newspaper. During that time, I refined my skills as a photojournalist. Covering a variety of different events – dance performances, art exhibits, club meetings, college gatherings, community festivals, and more – I sought to capture a story with a single photograph.
